Which Visitor Centers Should Participate In This Survey?

This 30 June 2004 Memorandum directs all projects to conduct visitor satisfaction surveys.

Visitor Center surveys should be conducted at:

• All Class A Visitor Centers
• All Class B Visitor Centers
• Class C Visitor Centers that requested $50K or more in funding for FY08 on visitor center work codes.

Survey participation is optional for Class C Visitor Centers that requested less than $50K for FY08 on visitor center work codes.

Notes:
The Survey Schedule Generator for Visitor Centers includes a pull-down list of Projects that have one or more Visitor Centers. Projects that should participate in the survey will show their Visitor Center(s) in bold type.

The list of Visitor Centers available in the survey planning tool was constructed from visitor center data available in OMBIL and RecBEST. The list may not include facilities that have been identified in OMBIL as a recreation area rather than a Visitor Center. Visitor Centers that are not included on the list, but are known to exceed the threshold conditions listed above, should conduct this survey.
