Draft NRM Strategic Plan comments due Jan 15
Friendly reminder that final input on the draft 2021 -2031 NRM Strategic Plan is due January 15. With only a few days left, I am asking that you reach down to your folks and encourage them to provide input to this very important initiative.

The strategic plan will encompass all NRM programs and activities and will emphasize the role of land and water use management and public access controls in delivering the mission and reducing negative impacts on other project purposes (missions) at operating projects. The draft plan incorporates external stakeholder and internal NRM Community of Practice input from previous surveys. This plan will focus on direction for national efforts and activities that are aimed to support the field in the NRM mission.

Please take advantage of this opportunity to share any thoughts you have regarding the plan and share widely. The online NRM Strategy questionnaire is available on the NRM Gateway at htt ps://corpslakes.erdc.dren.mil/employees/nrmstrategicplan/index.cfm. Your responses will remain confidential.

As a alternate option, you may fill out the attached input form and return to Meredith Bridgers by the January 15 deadline.
