    Revised ER 385-1-91 - Training, Testing, and Licensing for Operators of Class A and Class I Motorboats
    I am pleased to announce that ER 385-1-91, "Training, Testing, and Licensing for Operators of Class A and Class I Motorboats" has been revised and published. COL Kirk E. Gibbs, Chief of Staff, signed the regulation with an effected date of 1 September 2019. The revised regulation is a result of a thorough review of the Corps small boat training program and incorporates the program modifications stipulated in the 1 May 2018 memorandum, "Revised Policy - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Small Boat Operator Training Program".

    A PDT was chartered to conduct the review and to provide recommendations for program modification to HQUSACE for consideration and approval. The PDT did an excellent job in delivering this product and I'd like personally thank the team for a job well done. Their names are below.
