OMBIL Recreation Annual Update Begins October 1, 2017 -- Webinars & Verification Spreadsheets Corps Castle
Data entry will be available to the field October 1 31. In November, District POCs, Partnership Advisory Committee, and the NRM Users Group will have an opportunity to QA/QC the data and make any necessary corrections.

Please see attached spreadsheet (FY17 PSAs 7-28-2017) displaying PSAs and Parent Areas. If highlighted, the parent area is different than the PSA. Removing the parent area will not impact the current list of PSAs in OMBIL but corrections may be needed on the area subtype. Please make sure these changes are included in your annual update.

Facilities, facilities, facilities - identifying the correct facilities and counts in each PSA are IMPORTANT. Facilities determine your OMBIL subtype for each PSA and facilities help determine your load factors in VERS. Please see the attached spreadsheet (OMBIL Rec FY2016 Facilities), highlighted rows indicate some sort of issue such as PSAs not meeting the subtype requirements. (Ex: red indicates no parking)

f you have questions about your OMBIL data entry, please dont forget to tap into your district and division POCs, as well as the NRM OMBIL User Group members and myself. The official memo announcing the update period was distributed on September 15.

Click HERE for webinar schedule and full detail on this update.
