Request for Interest in a NOC for Water Safety SCA Intern
Please distribute this to field projects as soon as possible so they will have time to fill out and return their request. Field projects must submit their requests through their District POC for their Division MSC NRM Leads that must submit requests by COB 26 February 2013 to the NOC Manager Pam Doty and copy Rachel Garren. Request form, instructions and job description are attached.

The NOC for Water Safety will be providing funding for 16 Student Conservation Association (SCA) public safety interns for a 12 to 16 week period during the FY13 recreation season. These interns are required to provide water safety initiatives and promote water safety the majority of the time while they are working. Please see the intern job description and instructions for more details. This is a great opportunity for staffing that can be utilized to promote water safety so every field projects that is interested is encouraged to apply.

Field Projects: Submit your request to your District POC.

District POCs: Consolidate requests received from field projects and send your Division MSC NRM Leads your top 3 requests. Division MSC NRM Leads are responsible for setting a deadline to receive requests from Districts.

Division MSC NRM Leads: Consolidate requests received from District POCs and send your top 6 requests to NOC Manager Pam Doty and copy Rachel Garren by COB 26 February 2013.
