Other Information: We will be hosting an informational webinar with Backcountry Hunters & Anglers (BHA) https://www.backcountryhunters.org/ to discuss our new national MOU and share ideas for ways to partner together.

The purpose of this MOU is to provide a framework for cooperation between USACE and BHA to develop and expand collaborative engagement on the broad and diverse communities of interest in wildlife-dependent outdoor recreation, and sustainable wildlife habitat. Under this MOU, BHA and USACE strive to:

1. Coordinate to identify, define, and carry out projects that pertain to managing fish, wildlife, and their habitats.
2. Conduct local, regional, and national scale projects.
3. Develop and implement natural resources recovery plans, watershed, and other ecological assessments.
4. Monitor and evaluate restoration efforts and habitat management activities.
5. Educate the public about public land stewardship, hunting and angling heritage and outdoor recreational opportunities.
