Other Information: The NRM 147 Prospect Class will be hosted at the Redstone Arsenal at 100 Secured Gateway, Suite 150 Huntsville, Alabama 35808. If entering from outside the Redstone Arsenal, exit through Gate 9 on Rideout Road. Visitors need a CAC to enter. There are many eating options near the facility in addition to a food truck that comes most days. There is one hotel on Redstone and several others nearby. The hotel on Redstone is Candlewood Suites Building 3440. Huntsville is an ILPP site ($86.40/night). Students will be participating in defensive tactics training every day of class. Recommend students wear attire appropriate for physical activity each day. Thursday will include students performing exercises and participating in the OC/Pepper Spray training. Each student MUST ensure they have a belt (uniform or duty) for class in order to hold the OC/Pepper Spray holster. Recommend students who wear contacts, remove their contacts before participating in the training. The inert training spray may have an effect on the student’s contacts while being worn. Class is in session Monday thru Friday, 0800 – 1700. Class does not release early on Friday, so plan accordingly.
