Directions: Located 17 miles northeast of Madera on County Road 400.

Factoid: Hidden Dam, Hensley Lake is located in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley, nestled in the beautiful California Oak savanna environment of the Sierra Nevada foothills. Only 25 minutes to Madera, 45 minutes to Fresno, 1 hour to Yosemite National Park, and a day trip to Sequoia National Park, Kings Canyon National Park, and the central coast. Lake activities include water skiing, fishing, swimming, horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking, and camping.
