Directions & Lake History/Factoid
Directions: From Nashville, take I-40 East approximately 50 miles to exit 258 in Gordonsville, Tennessee. From there, follow US-53 North approximately six miles to reach Carthage, Tennessee. Turn right onto Tennessee-263 North and continue for 1.8 miles. Turn right onto Corps Lane and the Cordell Hull Visitor Center and Resource Manager's Office is located on the left.

Lake History

Factoid: Visitors to Cordell Hull Lake enjoy a wide variety of recreational activities. The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, under license to the Corps, administers an intensive wildlife and fisheries management program at the lake. Cordell Hull Lake offers two large developed campgrounds, five day use areas and fifteen lake access points. Two marinas and one campground are located on the lake and are operated through leases. There are several trail systems around the lake designed for hiking, biking, and horseback riding.
