Directions & Lake History/Factoid
Directions: Cherry Creek Dam is located on Cherry Creek approximately 11.5 miles upstream of the confluence with the South Platte River. The Dam lies on the south side of Interstatet 225 between Parker Road in the City of Aurora and South Dayton Avenue in the City of Greenwood Village, CO. The project is bounded by the cities of Denver, Greenwood Village, Aurora, and Centennial Colorado.

Factoid: Cherry Creek is a multi-purpose use flood control project on Cherry Creek in Arapahoe County and Denver County, Colorado. There are currently 7 parks operated by the State of Colorado Parks and Wildlife, and the Cities of Denver, Greenwood Village, and Aurora within the project area.
