Directions: From Kansas City, travel 26 miles south on I-35, 12 miles south on US 169, then 2 miles west to Hillsdale Lake.

Lake History

Factoid: Hillsdale Lake offers a wide range of recreational opportunities on its more than 8,000 acres of land just 40 minutes from the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. Fishing, hunting, camping, picnicking, boating, swimming, hiking and equestrian trails, a model airplane field, disc golf, and many other types of activities are available. The Corps of Engineers manages the dam and water control operations as well as a visitor center, and Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks manages the campgrounds and wildlife areas.
