See the Beltzville Lake website for additional information. Primary recreational opportunities are listed below.

Directions & Lake History/Factoid
Directions: From Allentown, travel north on PA Turnpike Northeast Extension to Mahoning Valley Interchange, Exit 74. Exit onto US Rt. 209 north. Make left turn onto N. Harrity Rd. Turn right onto Pohopoco Dr. Follow signs to Beltzville State Park.

Factoid: The 3,600 acre Beltzville State Park is in the southern foothills of the Poconos. Pohopoco Creek, an excellent trout stream, feeds the 947 acre Beltzville Lake, which is a rest stop for migrating waterfowl and is a destination for boaters and anglers. The sand beach and picnic pavilions are very popular. The park also offers 15 miles of hiking trails and offers hunting opportunities on over 1700 acres of land. Recreational facilities are a result of a cooperative effort of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, DCNR's Bureau of State Parks and the Pennsylvania Game Commission.
